Eric Vaughn

Eric Vaughn is a Partner at Book Hill Partners. Eric Vaughn has over 25 years of public service and federal and state government relations experience.

Mr. Vaughn has previously served as a member of the White House Domestic Policy Council and the White House National Security Council. Mr. Vaughn has also served in senior policy positions in the Executive Office of the President in the Office of Management and Budget as a Special Assistant in the National Security and Intelligence Division. He also served in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Office of the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, the Office of the Director of the National Security Agency and the Office of the Director of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the U.S. Department of Defense.

In addition to his work in the national security realm, he has extensive energy expertise. He has worked on energy policy issues on the staff of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Senate Finance Committee. Mr. Vaughn also helped lead the creation of the U.S. advanced bio-fuels industry and served as President of the Renewable Fuels Association, the national ethanol and bio-fuels industry organization representing over 350 companies engaged in the production and marketing of ethanol and bio-based diesel fuels. He also helped establish several major "grass-roots" coalitions with consumers, advanced technology centers, renewable energy producers and environmental organizations to support increased production and use of alternative energy sources.
